 Abts Equipment LLC currently has an opportunity for an experienced Service Technician to join the team.

Maintenance/Route Driver

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver cleaning supplies and udder health products to customers.
  • Diagnose, repair and replace/install parts as needed and when required.
  • Organize and implement a preventative maintenance program and schedule to maximize the reliability and safety of all of our equipment.
  • Establish standards, organize procedures and measure performance to ensure continuous improvement.
  • Plan ahead chemical and supplies to prevent down time
  • Comply with company policies and procedures.
  • Communicates conditions of equipment by completing appropriate maintenance records, transferring knowledge of conditions and informing management of significant problems.
  • Performs routine preventive maintenance procedures as per schedule.
  • Accurate and timely completion of required schedule maintenance items
  • Communicate and update all relevant parties of any issues or changes.
  • Follows all environmental protocols as applicable.
  • Follows all sanitation procedures and work instructions.

  • Qualifications and Education Requirements.
  • Be able to work in milking parlor conditions.
  • Ability to work a full day to get the job completed.
  • Ability to use a tablet and  understand apps.
  • Will need to obtain a CDL with HAZ MAT endorsement.
  • Strong work ethic is needed.
  • Effective communication skills, interpersonal skills needed for working dairymen.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $75,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year, based on experience level
